Speed Autobahn’s Fresh off the Press Thrilling New Single ‘Live it Up’

LISTEN HERE: https://soundcloud.com/speed-autobahn/03-live-it-up-feat-stormi-palmer-ezo

A fresh, fast paced and high-energy fusion of Electronica dance and Hip Hop reminiscent of artists Pitbull and Florida perfectly describes the fantastic new single by Speed Autobahn.

After the death of a close friend he was moved to create a song in his honour, taking inspiration from his friend’s popular saying ‘live everyday like it’s your last’ he named the track ‘Live it Up’.

“To hear him say, “I don’t do music for the hood, I do music for the world,” had me hype and if you know me you know I don’t need extra energy, but that’s what you feel through his music, energized!!!”

– Shelneka Adams, empire radio magazine

“ I never thought he could combine the styles of EDM and Hip Hop and Take it somewhere past were Pitbull has taken it, no disrespect to Pitbull, but a younger and newer wave”

–  Jay “the Great” Gatsby, The Royal Takeover Radio Show

Currently living in Manhattan, New York Speed Autobahn has been driving audiences so wild that both men and women have ripped their shirts off as they danced and raved. Performing in some of New York’s most famous venues such as Harlem Shrine, Santos House Party, Brooklyn’s Paperbox and also Fame Festival in Atlanta, GA he was introduced to the rapper Fat Joe earlier this year who encouraged him to aim for the skies with his art, saying “ your friends and family are not your fans, focus on creating music that people from all over can appreciate and love”. Having toured with the punk rock band and his producer Danny Switchblade, speaks a lot about the immense quality of music they express together.

In addition to his fantastic accolade his music has been featured on the award winning YouTube web series “Ghetto Nerd Girl” Speed Autobahn is set to tear his way up the music industry.

Nina Jones brings this famous hit back with new single ‘Purple Rain’

Her new single is a cover version of the iconic Prince track ‘Purple Rain’ – one of the songs that saw Prince become a household name in the 1980s. Nina Jones is hoping her version of the song may go some way to doing the same for her with its UK release, bringing the track back to basics to showcase her superb vocals.

PurplerainPrimage

The languid, artistic video is available online now, and you can see it below:

In choosing ‘Purple Rain’ as her next release, Nina continues a pattern of looking backwards to build a career going forward. Before this 1980s cover, Nina Jones’ previous single ‘Never Let You Go’ was a catchy track full of stylistic 90s touches. The decision to continue learning and working from what has gone before is a demonstration that, even as a teenager, Nina is still grafting hard to learn her craft from those who have gone before.

And, with coverage and national support from BBC Radio Wales, it’s an approach that is obviously working well.

In addition to releasing her solo singles and working on her own material going forward, Nina is also studying for her A-Levels and playing regularly with a superb 9 piece function band. With a work ethic like this, it’s easy to see Nina Jones’ dedication to music taking her a long way.

Estrella single ‘We Will Go On’ will be a rocking good show!

You can hear it for yourself here:

Some very talented veterans of the rock world have lent their hands to the making of Estrella’s new album with production overseen by Nick Brine (The Darkness, Brice Springsteen, Oasis), while previous single ‘Here I am’ was recorded at the infamous Rockfield Studios in Wales – the very studios in which Queen recorded ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’.  John T Sinclair (Uriah Heep, The Cult, Ozzy Osbourne) co-wrote and co-produced the track. Professionals like these are highly sought after for their time, and very picky about who they work with, which speaks highly about the talent on show in these four rockers from North of the border.

Anthony Tullo ready to release new country-rock single ‘Borderline’

New single out June 15th

Living in Ontario, Canada, Anthony Tullo is a country-rock singer-songwriter who is looking to take on the UK music industry with new single ‘Borderline’. It’s a promising year for an artist whose old school style has been compared to the classic likes of Bruce Springsteen, John Melencamp, Bob Segar, Bryan Adams and others, but with an decidedly contemporary edge. Riding the current worldwide wave of roots, country and folk music, Anthony Tullo is an artist who is here to stay.

PRimage

Hugely intelligent and multi-talented, Anthony is returning to the music industry after some years away from the business,  first deciding to pursue his song writing again when a self-written soundtrack to his own independent film captured attention. The movie itself went on to win awards in Canada and is now available globally online, while the result of his renewed song writing confidence in the stellar new rock single ‘Borderline’.

Revered by critics, radio and writers in his native Canada, and also invited to play some of the country’s most prestigious venues, Anthony Tullo’s reputation is already cemented and still growing on the other side of the Atlantic.

His first chance to break into the industry saw Anthony catch the eye of a notoriously difficult to please A&R at Warners over a decade ago, but his progress was halted by the tragic events of Sepember 11th, 2001 in New York. Following that day, the promising start to his career was halted by a label who (understandably) had other priorities, leading to Anthony Tullo leaving the industry for a time.

But now he’s back, a self-made musician with a point to prove. And if anyone disagrees with him, they should probably know one more thing – he funds his music career by competing and training others in the arts of Brazilian Ju-Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts.

This is one independent artist who needs to be taken seriously – in every sense.

Kinky Dove rock out with new self-titled EP

3 track release set to be unleashed on June 15th

Born in in Australia but now living in London, Kindy Dove is the musical moniker of frontman Scott Wade and his evolving collective of musicians. Progenitors of gritty, driving rock, the group are readying themselves for a fresh assault on the music industry with a brand new three track EP.

Their particular brand of rock and roll, defined in many ways by the bluesy, post-rock growl of Wade on vocals, is currently in short supply both nationally and globally, and Kinky Dove are now looking to redress that balance.

scott_2

Produced by Chris Kimsey, previously of Olympic Studios, the EP marks Kinky Dove out as one of the earthiest rock bands on the scene. Fans of Scott Wade and Kinky Dove before they began working together, the producer understood the style and heights at which the music was aiming, and helped mould that vision into the musical reality that Kinky Dove has become.

The CD was mixed by Wade. Studio legend Phill Brown loved the sound of the CD, commenting that the mixes were “open and alive.”

The resulting EP is a continuation of form from previous album ‘Kinky Dove vol. 1’, and the latest step in Kinky Dove’s  climb.

For a taste of their punchy style, check out the video to EP track ‘Some Kind of Fool’, featuring an epic slap-happy montage of Hollywood moments.

The EP also features a remix/cover version of classic 1978 track ‘Another Girl Another Planet’ by The Only Ones – in this case titled simply ‘Another Girl’.

There is also a trance remix of ‘It’s Called Heartache’ on the EP. You can find the video for this at

The EP is online at
