Pimlican Release R&B Fusion Hit ‘Runaw’y’

Fusing a potent blend of R&B, pop and dance music, musical collective Pimlican have followed up their single ‘B’ck 4 More/P’lya’, with their latest infectious release, ‘Runaw’y’.

Published via Pimlican’s own label, Belgrave Road Records, ‘Runaw’y’ employs a killer vocal hook with a powerful beat and unique instrumentation. It is this sort of well-crafted songwriting that has earned Pimlican airplay on Tim Robinson’s radio 6 show, BBC Introducing and BBC Radio Leeds.

The inspiration for the name ‘Pimlican’ came from spending many nights in Pimlico, waiting for appointments with people involved in the music industry. The idea of the collective is to deliver unique live performances; therefore, anyone can get involved in Pimlican as long as they help evolve the live show, never sticking to a completely rigid format.

‘Runaw’y’ utilises rap to both contrast and complement the strong vocals at play in the track, so it’s a must listen for an urban music fan.

Ginny Vee’s ‘Give Me Dynamite’

gv-10

Italian born singer Ginny Vee is taking house-pop circles by storm with her anthemic track, ‘Give Me Dynamite’. Ginny was spotted by former LA producer Christian DeWalden who set her up with Vanni Giorgilli and Pete Chiesa at Mind The Floor records.

The infectious single has a Northern European house sound, with a feel good style featuring Vee’s raw clear vocals. The upbeat single was arranged by Steve Manovski (co producer and co writer of Sigala’s hit single ‘Give Me Your Love’) and it was recently taken to the Amsterdam Dance Event where it was immediately snapped up by Disco:Wax (Sony).

Ginny was often pushed in other directions by her parents who wanted her to find a more solid job with security, but after dabbling in both modelling and acting for a while, Ginny chose to focus on her true passion of singing.

If Vee continues to produce club bangers like ‘Give Me Dynamite’, then she is sure to find stardom in the near future.

Listen to the teaser for ‘Give Me Dynamite’ here, which is officially out 16th December:
